to create and edit blog hosted on blogspot.com.

to create simple text, free of any special formatting, to copy into Blogger.

to create a spreadsheet documenting camps, dates, distances travelled, portages, fish caught (and my many canoe checklists).
"Advanced Renamer"
to bulk change edited photo and video names to add a new identifier to the file name.
"Google Chrome"
to post and edit "Blogger" blogs. (Important to use Chrome versus other web browsers which may not provide full functionality in Google Blogger.)

to edit photos (crop, autocorrect some dark images, compress for uploading to Blogger). (Installed with free "Microsoft Sharepoint Designer 2010" download.)
