Camp 26, after nine km travel, including one portage of 100 metres. My son Steven and I met up on the eastern side of central Saskatchewan for a 10 day trip. It was great to have a canoe partner, so it was like a vacation for me. We had an all day rain and strong wind that prompted us to move our tarp shelter from an open area into the bush where we dug a fire pit and had good shelter.
